I’ll prove it to you, and here are the facts.
I wake up and check the time on the clock
And calculate how much time that I got
To get myself ready for school for the day
That’s a calculation like when you weigh
The fruit that you bought at the store with your mom
You need the total, for that, you need the sum
You need to add it up, it helps to round the price
It’s easier to add, you can follow this advice
Estimates help to find mistakes that you made
If you catch them you get a higher grade
That's not all, you learn to be precise

Here’s an example let's say have 30 bucks
You have some change as well 67 cents add it up
But wait, you just found a 20 that was in your pouch
And 22 cents in change in the cushions on the couch
You add it up then you can get that total
With some practice at addition you’ll have skills at your disposal/
It helps if you can estimate as well to check your math, right?/

but I did and he could solve the equation in his head
before I could even open the app and type a few numbers in

and I know 16 + 4 is always gonna equal to 20
so is 18 and 2, 3 and 17, 15 and 5 it's a number jive

You can use factors to make an array
10 by 30 will suit the needs for the day
That's 300 when you multiply the two
That’s enough chairs, set it up with the crew

Spilt the 2 in 4 well you got 4 halves
You can reverse the process as a matter of fact
Multiply the halves by 4 you get 2 wholes
That’s a fact family they’re all related they’re bros
So there’s the reason why you need to learn to divide
