The lesson today it’s not hard it’s not a mission
If you want to count the total well then you need addition
Suppose you have to count cash that’s given to you
It’s easy if it’s straight bills but what if there’s some change too
You need line up decimals that’s the first rule
Cause if you don’t the total will be wrong that's worst, cool?
Here’s an example let's say have 30 bucks
You have some change as well 67 cents add it up
But wait, you just found a 20 that was in your pouch
And 22 cents in change in the cushions on the couch
You add it up then you can get that total
With some practice at addition you’ll have skills at your disposal/
It helps if you can estimate as well to check your math, right?/
Cause everybody makes mistakes I made 20 last night/

Once again it's on - break out the Scrabble board mom
gonna flex my lexicon and build words of value
racking up points, especially with the letter q
it's funny cause we're playing with grandma's old game
kind of an antique but that word only gives me 16
so I wait till the next turn and keep it moving
gotta be quicker, wait that's a solution
add it up, I got 10, 1, 1 3, 5, 1, and another one
not gonna break out the calculator or use my finger and thumb
1 + 1 and 3 is 5, the other 5 is 10, and the q is 10 for 20 plus the last r,
I got 22 without the special spaces
“Good job, son” says my mom,
but she uses the same q with all 7 tiles and spells my doom
I got roasted on the barbeque
that's 3, 1, 1, 3, 1, 10, 1, 1
doesn't sound like much, in fact it's less than mine, it's only 21
Except for the 50 bonus points for using all 7 tiles
don't forget the triple word spot she just got
Good job, Mom, let's pack up the board, it seems you've won.
