Okay, gonna spit this rhyme
Bout to add up 24, 6 times
Is this the best way? Make a decision
It doesn’t make sense to use repeated addition
4 times 6 is what? You get 24
2 times 6, it’s 12, then add 2 more
See that? It’s a quicker approach
It just fast addition, increasing it’s growth
Now suppose you need to set up chairs
At a school, for the students, to watch a show a there
You can use factors to make an array
10 by 30 will suit the needs for the day
That's 300 when you multiply the two
That’s enough chairs, set it up with the crew
That’s an array, that’s the setup we chose
We found the product, using columns and rows

This track got 3 MCs so it's 3 times as nice
3 times 16 bars to make it precise
15 times 3 is 45
I know cause that's how a clock divides up an hour
But we had one more bar each so let's add 3 to the 45

count up those zeroes and throw 'em in the answer, yo
3 zeroes on the left equals 3 on the right
Take 400 x 20, all ya gotta do is 4 times 2 to get 8
Add the 3 zeros, 8,000
That's what ya celebrate

A-Cubed

Computing these numbers, long multiplication
It ain’t like climbing the Appalachians
First provision to increase precision/
Stack these numbers, without supervision
Place values lines up, is the tradition
Arranging numbers in a square, is our mission
Next step, a times tables revision
bottom number times each top number, envision
If the first calculation results in double digits
Carry the 10s atop the 10s, is how it pivots
Add the carried number to the next result
We’re on our way to being math savy adults
We have a second results line to eventually combine
Start it with a zero, please follow this design
Repeat multiplication of bottom 10s to each top
Then we add the results and clean it up like a mop
