We wanted to craft this album as if it were a school day so it was only fitting that we include a recess break. We also like playing with words and their meanings. A break, in Hip Hop terminology, is a drum solo that often serves as the basis for a song. Many of the great Hip Hop albums feature instrumental interludes. This was our chance to highlight that and to give beat maker/producer I.Khan a chance to shine on his own. (HHH 0008 – March 11, 2022)
